EYE Pre-Post (fall and spring) results: What are they telling you?

The EYE Pre-Post results reflect each child’s progress and measure how effective the supports have been in meeting their needs throughout the school year.

This is a wonderful time to celebrate successes! Results can also be used to help guide the next steps in supporting children as they transition to kindergarten (for the EYE-DA) or Grade 1 (for the EYE-TA). Review your results online at  app.earlyyearsevaluation.com/ site/login .

Looking for ideas to help collect your post EYE-TA results?

Check out our Activity Dashboard where you’ll find 180 ideas! This dashboard allows you to select specific EYE-TA items, filter by group size and/or COVID compatibility. You can view a list of activities matching these criteria, including the activity name and description, any accompanying materials, and possible activity modifications.

Spring Implementation Reminders

For those of you who have begun or will soon begin to implement your post EYE-Teacher Assessment sessions or are beginning your EYE-Direct Assessment sessions, here are some useful reminders:

EYE-DA: check your supplies to ensure your evaluation kits are well stocked and that you have enough Scoring Protocol Sheets and Child Response Booklets (you need one for every child being assessed). If push_pin_green_2.pngyou need supplies, please contact your EYE coordinator, Account Success Manager or  eye-support@thelearningbar.com

EYE-TA: children who have been identified with RTI Tier 2 or Tier 3 learning needs will be reassessed in push_pin_green_2.pngthe Post EYE-TA, along with any children who were not assessed in the fall (e.g., a child who is new to the jurisdiction).

EYE Child Reports are available in the system in over 20 different languages for you to print off and push_pin_green_2.pngshare with families whose first language is not English.
