Welcome Back!
We hope you had a restful holiday and are excited about the new year ahead.
We want to help you start the year with the support and resources you need for your children. If you haven’t already used your child reports to engage with your school multi-disciplinary team, give it a try! Sharing the child reports will allow you to:
- start a conversation about the child's results using a common language across the various disciplines (e.g., SLP, OT, PT);
- establish early learning considerations and priorities;
- provide a forum where collaborative discussions can take place that focusses on the individual child's strengths and areas of need; and
- make decisions around priorities for formal assessment, supports, and the deployment of resources.
We'd love to hear how it works for you. Here is some feedback from another educator about how they use the EYE data to support their children!
"We experience huge gains with the EYE-TA data over the Kindergarten year. Our teachers focus on the challenges and set up many interventions to support the students. Parents become more involved in their child's development and support personnel work with children from the beginning of the year." - EYE Coordinator, Saskatchewan

What happens when it's not clear why a student is not progressing? Hear Tanis Crawford, Superintendent of Schools at Lac La Ronge Indian Band Education, discuss the impact that the Confident Learners skills-based literacy program is having in their schools.
Empowering educators with the information they need to make a difference in every child's learning.
