Before you close your session, we strongly encourage you to review and resolve any potential child duplicate issues. Some children may have information that matches other children within the EYE application, such as last name and date of birth. In the case where Student IDs are required, we are also checking to ensure that no children have the same ID. Resolving these cases will allow the EYE team to quickly generate your jurisdiction-level reports after your session has closed.
Child duplicates can be resolved at all levels within your organisation:
District Level:

How to resolve duplicates:
1. To start, click the Resolve Child Duplicates icon.
2. On this page, you will see the list of children whose information needs to be confirmed.
3. Select the child’s name to view the potential issue. The details that require confirmation will be highlighted in light red.
4. Edit the child’s information where applicable.
5. Check the “Confirmed?” box once the details are confirmed.
6. Ensure that all fields are marked as "Confirmed" that includes the Middle Name portion. Otherwise, the system won't allow you to proceed.
7. Click the green “Confirm” button at the bottom to save the changes.
8. A message “Record Updated” will then be displayed.
